Community of Saints to Become 1:1 with Chromebooks

Our Higher Powered Learning Program grant has allowed us funding to become 1:1–this means every student will have access to a Chromebook!  The additional Chromebooks have been ordered!  They most likely won’t arrive until June due to high demand; regardless, this is exciting and will prepare us even more for full access in the classroom, as well as times when students are unable to physically be in the school classroom.

Higher Powered Learning is a school-wide blended learning program that combines the strategic use of technology in the classroom with intensive small group instruction.  Community of Saints is one of five school in the Twin Cities partnering with the University of Notre Dame this year as part of the Alliance for Catholic Education’s (ACE’s) Higher-Powered Learning Program.  This is a three-year program guiding teachers and school leaders through the implementation of excellent and sustainable blended-learning programs. The result is instructional practices that meet the needs of our students and challenges all our students to grow academically.
