A Sense of Belonging, A Community of Faith, A Foundation of Excellence

Community of Saints has experienced enrollment growth for four straight years.  The growth is a result of high retention and an increase in new students with the support of a successful fundraising program for tuition assistance.

Our families know their children receive a high quality education when they walk through our doors.  We are committed to meeting the individual needs our students while creating a strong community.

University of Notre Dame - Blended Learning & STEM

Blended Learning combines the strategic use of technology in the classroom with intensive small group instruction.  Community of Saints is one of five school in the Twin Cities partnering with the University of Notre Dame this year as part of the Alliance for Catholic Education’s (ACE’s) Higher-Powered Learning Program.  This is a three-year program guiding teachers and school leaders through the implementation of excellent and sustainable blended-learning programs. The result is instructional practices that meet the needs of our students and challenges all our students to grow academically.

STEM is an interdisciplinary approach to teaching science, technology, engineering, and math and will be phased into all grade levels over the next three years.  The program not only helps students improve test scores in math and science, it also promotes critical thinking and problem solving.  Community of Saints is one of only nine schools in the country, and the only private school, chosen by Notre Dame for the program.

Catholic Identity - Faith & Service

The Catholic faith and teachings of the Church are integrated into the daily life of Community of Saints. Students participate in daily prayer and religion classes. Weekly Mass occurs on-site every Thursday morning.

Children of all faiths are welcome at Community of Saints.

Service learning: Our students are encouraged to live their faith through service learning projects to support others in our community.  Students at all grade levels perform service learning projects as well as participate in school wide service.

Sacramental Preparation: Catholic students receive preparation for the sacraments (Reconciliation, Eucharist, Confirmation) through one of our sponsoring parishes or their home parish.  To register for sacramental preparation, visit our parent resources page.

S.T.A.R. Students

Community of Saints uses Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to support positive behavior, improve school climate, and increase student achievement.  Students learn what STAR behavior looks like throughout the school and are reminded of a STAR tip of the week each day during the morning announcements.  Each week a student in every class is recognized as the STAR student of the week.
